The Fast Hybrid AF system, combining high-speed phase-detection AF with extremely accurate contrast-detection AF, allows the camera to lock onto and capture moving subjects in merely 0.05 seconds.

Smooth subject tracking with reduced blackout
Capture 20.1 MP images at up to 24fps continuously for up to 233 shots, and with full AF/AE tracking for each. With reduced blackout it's also easier to follow moving subjects on both the LCD screen or viewfinder.

Making the most of 4K recordings
The RX100V captures 4K movies using a full sensor readout, without the pixel binning common on other cameras. By condensing around 1.7x the image data into each 4K frame, fine details are rendered precisely with less moire and other image artefacts.
