The power does not turn ON even if the battery pack or AC adapter is attached to the camcorder.

The following are the possible causes why the camcorder is not turning on even if the battery pack or AC adapter is attached.

When using an AC adapter and USB cable

• Check whether the AC adapter and power cord are firmly connected to the main body and to the electrical outlet.
• If you are using a USB cable, attach the battery to the camcorder and check whether the equipment, such as a USB cable and the personal computer, are firmly connected.
• Depending on your camcorder, the camcorder determinates the connection with a USB cable. It may take some time before the camcorder turns on.
  If the camcorder does not start after connection, turn on the camcorder again after about 5 seconds.

When using the battery

• If the battery is exhausted, please try again after charging.
  Go here if the battery cannot be charged.
  The battery does not charge

• If the camcorder cannot be charged, does not turn on even after it was charged, or the power turns off immediately after it was turned on, inspection is necessary.
