ZV-E1: Setting the right vibe with Creative Looks

    Creative Looks enable you to give movies or still images exactly the mood you want.

    Ten presets are available, and for each look, you can fine-tune contrast, saturation, and other details.
    Even with the same subject, you can enjoy many different vibes by switching Creative Looks before you shoot.

    Summary of all 10 Creative Looks

    • ST: Standard finish for a wide range of subjects and scenes.
    • PT: For capturing skin in a soft tone, ideally suited for shooting portraits.
    • NT: The saturation and sharpness are lowered for shooting images in subdued tones. This is also suitable for capturing image material to be modified with a computer.
    • VV: The saturation and contrast are heightened for shooting striking images of colorful scenes and subjects such as flowers,spring greenery, blue sky, or ocean views.
    • VV2: Creates an image with bright and vivid colors with rich clarity.
    • FL: Creates an image with moody finish by applying sharp contrast to the calm coloring as well as the impressive sky and colors of the greens.
    • IN: Creates an image with matte textures by suppressing the contrast and saturation.
    • SH: Creates an image with bright, transparent, soft, and vivid mood.
    • BW: For shooting images in black and white monotone.
    • SE: For shooting images in sepia monotone.

    Setting procedure

    With the shooting screen displayed, press the Fn (function) button.

    To view all of the preset looks lined up on the screen, select Creative Look from the function menu. Preview color tones as you switch looks, and after you choose your preferred look, you can fine-tune it as needed.

    You can also switch looks by tapping the touch function icons.

    The Creative Look icon is fifth from the top on the left side of the screen.

    Note:
    • To switch Creative Looks when in the Intelligent Auto or Scene Selection mode, tap the (image adjustment) icon and switch looks from the My Image Style settings.
