How to change the modem dialing preferences?

1. Click the Start button and then click Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, click Harware and Sound.
3. In the Hardware and Sound window, click Phone and Modem Options.
4. In the Location Information window, the following settings can be configured.
       * The country or region
       * Area code
       * Carrier code
       * Outside line access number
       * Tone or pulse dialing 
5. Click the OK button.
