Sony has recently identified the possibility that the inner magnet used in the Carrying Pouch bundled with several VAIO Personal Computers may cause hard disk failure in the main unit.
The affected pouch is bundled with following models and sold only in India:
VPCYA15FG, VPCYB15AG, VPCYA17GG
If you own the affected carrying pouch, please discontinue use immediately and contact our toll free number (1800-103-7799). We will exchange the affected pouch with a new one for free. Sony will also perform a precautionary check of your VAIO hard disk condition at the pouch exchange.
