One-touch mirroring doesn't work
Try these methods one after the other. Verify after each method whether the problem was solved, before trying the next one.
- Make sure the NFC function is enabled on the Xperia device.
- Make sure the screen of the Xperia device is unlocked.
- If you are charging the Xperia device, remove the charger from the device.
- Make sure the camera is turned off in the Xperia device.
- If the Xperia device doesn't vibrate when you touch the two devices, turn off NFC and then turn it on again. Move the Xperia device close to the N mark on the output device (for example, the One-touch remote control).
- If the the Xperia device is in a case, the device's reaction to touch may be diminished. Remove the Xperia device from the case.
- Keep touching the output device (for example, the One-touch remote control) to the Xperia device until the Xperia device vibrates. Depending on the Xperia device you are using, the NFC sensitivity may not be strong enough to connect with the other device with just one touch.
- If the following message or messages appear on one of the devices while you try using one-touch mirroring, update the BRAVIA® TV and the Xperia device to the latest software versions:
- Connection failed
- Device not found
- If one-touch mirroring connections continue to fail after a software update, you should try to delete the group which was created when the two devices connected using one-touch mirroring. You can remove this remembered group in the Wi-Fi Direct settings. After you have removed the groups, reconnect the devices.
