What to do if the computer freezes at the Devices and Printers window after installing a driver for a Bluetooth device?

    After installing a driver for a Bluetooth device, the computer freezes at the Devices and Printers window.
    This issue may occur if one or more of the Bluetooth services on the computer was stopped or was switched to Manual startup while installing the Bluetooth device driver. Follow this procedure to reset these Bluetooth services and resolve the issue.

    1. Click Start and in the Search programs and files field, type services.msc. Then press the Enter key.

    2. In the Services window, in the right pane, double-click any Bluetooth related service that has a status of Stopped, or is set as Manual.
    3. In the Bluetooth Service Properties window, next to Startup type, click the down arrow and click to select Automatic.
    4. In the Services window, click the X in the upper-right corner to close the window.
    5. Restart the computer.
