Why doesn't the VAIO computer resume from the standby mode when any key is pressed?
The VAIO computer does not resume from the standby mode when any key is pressed.
To resume the VAIO computer, please use only the Stand by key.
For VAIO computers with Windows XP pre-installed, follow the steps below for the necessary settings.
1. Start Control Panel.
2. Click Printers and Other Hardware and click Keyboard.
3. Click the Hardware tab.
4. Click Properties.
5. Click the Power Management tab and select the Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby option.
